Tire pressure conversion formulas
PSI to kPa: kPa = PSI × 6.894757293168
kPa to PSI: PSI = kPa ÷ 6.894757293168
PSI to bar: bar = PSI × 0.06894757293168
bar to PSI: PSI = bar ÷ 0.06894757293168
Why cold pressure matters
Tire pressure changes with temperature and driving heats the tires. The manufacturer placard specifies cold inflation pressure. This converter changes units only; it does not determine the correct pressure for a vehicle.
